The mission of B & L Homes, Inc., is to provide our customers with new, quality homes, foundations and sun rooms; or remodeling choices such as replacement windows, vinyl decks, and railing; gas fireplaces and stoves; wood flooring and many other building and plumbing materials of good quality and workmanship. B & L Homes would provide these services from start to finish within an approximate 50 mile radius of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. Building materials and home improvement products are provided in the same approximate 50 mile radius. We believe that honesty and integrity are integral aspects of our business. B & L Homes, Inc., is a family owned and run corporation. The family has had real estate businesses for over 24 years and in 1994, B & L Homes Inc. was formed and began as an authorized builder of All American Homes of Dyersville, Iowa.

In 1998 B & L Homes became a builder, dealer of Stratford Homes of Stratford Wisconsin. Stratford Homes is known as a custom modular home company.

1998 also was the year that B & L become a fabricator and distributor of Lite-Form (ICF) Insulated Concrete Forms.

In 1999 Custom Touch Homes of Madison, South Dakota, and Rochester Homes of Rochester, Indiana, were added to the B & L product line of modular homes.

In 2000 B & L. Homes became dealer/builders of the following: sun rooms, solariums, patio rooms, for PGT Industries (NatureScape and E-Z-Breeze); Thermal Industries, (Dream Space); TRACO (Skytech) and Dura-built. These companies give B & L the ability to build new or remodel from a screen room, patio or deck with national brand components.

B & L Homes includes Thermal Industries; TRACO; and PGT Industries; Vinyl, new and replacement, sliding and french doors; plus vinyl windows: casement; double hung; basement egress; fixed; single hung; trapezoid; sky lights and sun tubes.

In 2000 B & L Homes expanded to include the discount, retail, selling and or installation of numerous national brands of plumbing supplies, from showers to tubs, including whirlpools and faucets to toilets; plus all associated parts and components.

In the year 2000 B & L also features an expansion into the discount, selling and or installation of 3/4" solid or engineered, hardwood floors, Ash, Cherry, Oak, Maple, Pine and numerous other varieties, in various grades, widths and dimension lengths.

In 2000 B & L expanded into HVAC with the addition of non vent; catalytic non vent; direct vent and B vent; fireplace; fireplace insert; free standing, classic, cast iron stove; free standing stove; wall stove or wall furnace heating, with many options.

The year 2001 brings the addition of Thermal Industries; maintenance free, vinyl decking, railing and porch posts for new construction, sunroom decks or remodeling of existing decks and porch additions or enclosures.

The year is 2001, B & L, HVAC, now includes the sale and or installation of ductless split system air conditioning with or without heating capabilities.

Our service can provide construction, project, management only or a complete turn key package for our clients where they can receive their home in move-in condition, or a complete remodeling job.
